ABOUT THE KIWANIS CLUB OF CALGARY

The Kiwanis Club of Calgary Kamp Kiwanis was founded in 1919 and is a chartered club of Kiwanis International. Kiwanis is an organization devoted to the principle of service: to the advancement of individual, community, and national welfare; and to the strengthening of international goodwill. Kiwanis membership spans the globe, with more than 300,000 members in more than 8,000 clubs in 82 countries, giving $70 million and 7 million hours for community service each year.

Kiwanis Club of Calgary Kamp Kiwanis is a very active service club. Some of our major service projects include Kamp Kiwanis and The Calgary Kiwanis Music Festival.

Our club meets once a month for a general meeting. The Kamp Committee and Board of Directors also meet once a month.
